International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and tongue-tie practitioner

Becky has over 20 years of breastfeeding support experience and is a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) qualified in 2018 by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners as well as being a registered midwife.

I offer face to face (within 20 miles of YO32, though there is flexibility to this if I have availability) and online empathetic, experienced private lactation consultant breastfeeding and chestfeeding help services under my remit as an IBCLC.

All mother-baby teams are unique and support is tailored to your needs to help you to meet each your breastfeeding goals. 

What support is offered?

Antenatal breastfeeding education and support to prepare for breastfeeding

I am an NHS tongue tie practitioner with a masters module with distinction in tongue tie practice. I do not offer tongue-tie division privately but I do offer tongue tie / restriction assessments (not suitable for video messaging)

Breastfeeding support for all reasons including concerns over weight gain, sore nipples, engorgement, mastitis and blocked ducts, milk blisters, breastmilk supply, supplementing.

I also offer breastfeeding debriefs and preparation to breastfeed classes.
