Antenatal Breastfeeding Workshops
We run a breastfeeding workshop for women who are pregnant, to help prepare them for breastfeeding.
It gives women the opportunity to explore the reasons as to why breastfeeding is the perfect way to feed their baby or babies. The workshop signposts where to find help and support in the local area if it is needed. Finally, there is the opportunity to talk to a breastfeeding mum about her experiences including expressing, breastfeeding out and about and breastfeeding in hospital.
The workshop runs on a Saturday morning once a month at The Avenues Children's Centre, generally from 9.30am to about 12noon. [See Map here}
